Final

Alan McManus (Scotland) def. Ken Doherty (Ireland) 9-8

The Scot was 8-7 down in the match, but came back in style. In the final frame he trailed 54-43 when he potted an excellent final red, followed by a blue and the colours to clinch the 40,000 first prize, plus the 5,000 for the highest break, a 139 against Peter Ebdon in the semi-final.
